Introduction

Adelite Consulting, LLC, doing business as LegalFenix (“LegalFenix,” “we,” “our,” or “us”),
respects the privacy of visitors to our website at legalfenix.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy
explains what personal information we collect when you visit the Site, how we use it, and the
choices available to you.
Please read it carefully. If you do not agree with it, your choice is not to use the Site.

What This Policy Covers

This policy covers the Site and nothing else.
LegalFenix provides fractional chief marketing officer, revenue operations, and technology
consulting services. When we implement, configure, or manage software on behalf of a client,
including customer relationship management, accounting, and practice management platforms,
the client owns those accounts and the information in them. Our handling of that information is
governed by our services agreement with the client and by the client’s own agreements with the
software providers involved. This policy does not address it.
Likewise, this policy does not cover information collected offline, information collected through
any other website, or information collected by any third party whose site you reach through a
link on ours.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you complete a contact form, request a consultation, subscribe to our newsletter, or
otherwise reach out through the Site, you may provide information such as your name, email
address, company name, job title, telephone number, and whatever you choose to write in your
message. We collect only what you submit.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect technical information through cookies, server
logs, and similar technologies. This typically includes your IP address, browser type and
version, operating system, referring URL, the pages you view, how long you spend on them,
and the date and time of your visit.

Analytics and Marketing Tools

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with the Site. Google Analytics sets

cookies that collect usage data. You can read how Google processes that data at
google.com/policies/privacy/partners, and you can opt out by installing the Google Analytics
Opt-Out Browser Add-on.
We use HubSpot as our customer relationship management and marketing platform. HubSpot
sets cookies that let us recognize returning visitors, see which pages a contact viewed before
and after reaching out to us, and measure how our marketing performs. If you submit a form on
the Site, HubSpot associates what you submitted with the browsing activity it has recorded for
your device. HubSpot’s privacy policy is available at legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.
We use Google Tag Manager to deploy and manage the tags described above. Google Tag
Manager does not itself collect personal information about you.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We use them for
basic Site functionality, for analytics, and for the marketing purposes described above. We do
not use cookies to identify you personally unless you have submitted personal information
through a form on the Site, in which case we may associate your cookie data with what you
submitted.
When you first visit the Site, we present a banner that lets you accept or reject cookies that are
not strictly necessary for the Site to work. Rejecting them will not limit your access to any part of
the Site. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer.
We also use Cloudflare to protect the Site against automated abuse. Cloudflare sets cookies
that identify automated traffic and record that a visitor has passed a security check. These are
strictly necessary for the Site to operate safely and are set regardless of the choice you make in
the banner.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse
cookies outright or alert you when one is being set. Disabling cookies may affect how parts of
the Site function.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected through the Site to respond to your inquiries and provide what
you have asked for; to send marketing communications where permitted by law; to analyze Site
traffic and improve the Site’s content and performance; to detect and prevent security threats
and fraud; and to comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral
advertising. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or
similarly significant effects.

How We Share Your Information

We share personal information with service providers who help us operate the Site and run our
business, including our website host, our analytics and marketing platforms, and our email
delivery services. These providers are contractually required to use the information only for the
purposes we specify and to protect it with appropriate safeguards.
We may also disclose personal information when required by law or valid legal process, when
necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others, and in connection with a merger,

acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties for their own marketing
purposes.

Where Your Information Is Stored

LegalFenix is based in the United States, and the Site is hosted in the United States by WP
Engine. Information you submit through the Site is also stored in the United States by HubSpot,
our customer relationship management platform. The Site is directed to visitors in the United
States. If you access it from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and
processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your own country.

Data Retention

We keep personal information collected through the Site only as long as we need it for the
purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
Contact records, including what you submitted through a form and the activity history associated
with it, are deleted after twenty-four months with no activity. Activity means a website visit, an
email, a meeting, a task, or a similar interaction with us. You may also ask us to delete your
information at any time before then, using the process described below.
Analytics data collected through cookies is retained according to our analytics providers’
standard settings, currently fourteen months for Google Analytics.

Data Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the personal
information collected through the Site against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration.
These include encryption of data in transit, access controls, and periodic review of the accounts
that can reach our systems. No method of transmitting information over the internet is
completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Marketing Communications

We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. Every marketing email we send includes a working
unsubscribe link, and you may also write to us at the address below to withdraw your consent.
We process unsubscribe requests within ten business days.
Where we ask for your consent to contact you by telephone or text message, we ask for it
separately from any other permission, we do not require it as a condition of using the Site or
submitting a form, and you may withdraw it at any time.

Your Privacy Rights

A number of states, California foremost among them, give residents specific rights over their
personal information. Rather than sort visitors by where they live, we extend the following rights
to everyone who visits the Site. Subject to verification of your identity, you may ask us to:

● Tell you what personal information we have collected about you, where we got it, why we
collected it, and with whom we have shared it.
● Give you a copy of that information in a portable format.
● Correct personal information that is inaccurate.
● Delete personal information we hold about you.
● Stop selling your personal information or sharing it for cross-context behavioral
advertising. We do not do either, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the right is yours if
that ever changes.
● Limit our use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal
information through the Site.
● Appeal a decision we make on any of these requests.
The personal information we collect through the Site falls into three categories under California
law: identifiers, such as your name, email address, telephone number, and IP address;
commercial and professional information, such as your company name, job title, and the
services you have asked about; and internet activity information, such as the pages you view
and how you interact with the Site. We collect all of it for the business purposes described in this
policy.
California residents’ rights arise under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the
California Privacy Rights Act. Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas,
Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy statutes have similar rights
under their own laws. We will not discriminate against you in any way for exercising them.

Opt-Out Preference Signals

Some browsers and browser extensions can send an automated signal, such as Global Privacy
Control, indicating that you do not want your personal information sold or shared. We treat that
signal as a valid request and honor it for every visitor, wherever you live.

contact us using the information below. We will acknowledge your request promptly and
respond within the period required by the law that applies to you, generally forty-five days from
the day we receive it, and we will tell you if we need more time. If we decline a request, we will
tell you why, and you may appeal that decision by replying to our response.

Children’s Privacy

The Site is directed to businesses and is not intended for children under thirteen. We do not
knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen. If we learn that we have, we
will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a material change, we will post the
revised policy on the Site with a new effective date. Please review it periodically. Your continued
use of the Site after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
